Where do I go from here

  1. True, that.

Found your blog after the Courant kerfluffle, and, scout's honor, this native New Yorker finds your entries about life in New York as interesting as- perhaps even more interesting than- your entries from inside UConn. I'm definitely adding your blog to the reading list.

  2. Hi!

I'm going to be writing a commentary piece about you in the Daily Campus paper.

I personally do not think there is a conflict of interest that lies in being a celebrity blogger. In fact, I bristled at some of the sexist tone used by Yahoo sports. I can think of several cases off the top of my head of AP giving kid's executives jobs.

Send me an email. I just called Geno, so you may get the message before that.

  3. Ally, I have my own restaurant marketing company. Blogging and online marketing are a big part of what I do. I think you have real talent as a writer but perhaps not yet enough savvy to market yourself effectively. I would love to speak with you and discuss a proposal. Don't waste any tears over The Hartford Courant. Believe me, that's not where it's happening online anyway. You are a commodity in your own right and if anything, you have The Courant to thank for putting you on the map by getting caught up in their controversy. If you'd like to discuss possibilities for your blogging future, drop me a line at Laura@restaurantredux.com
Cheer up – you're young and the world is your oyster!
