I love bagels. If I could, I’d eat them every day. I like them sweet, and I like them savory. One of my favorite sandwiches of all time comes from Manhattan Bagel. Their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Bagel is one of my favorite things to eat, and I was devastated when so many of them closed near me. However I just found out that bagel is a 560 calorie bomb, so maybe it’s not such a bad thing?
This morning, I woke up and the first thing on my mind was bagel. BAGEL. And I’ve been trying hard lately to satisfy what my body craves (within reason, of course). So into the toaster went a Thomas Whole Wheat Bagel!
1 Fuji Apple
1.5 tbsps Justin’s Maple Almond Butter
1 tsp maple syrup (I’d put honey on it but since I used the maple, might as well double up the flavor)
This was absolutely delicious and holy smokes was it filling! I didn’t even feel compelled to eat anything until around 5 hours later!
By the time lunchtime rolled around, I was looking for something simple and tasty. My mom and I are really fond of turkey roll-ups, so I decided that was for me.
2 tbsps Tribe Hummus Baba Ganoush
Boar’s Head Turkey rolled with 2 slices Soya Kaas Cheddar Style Cheese and Olivia’s Baby Spinach
Yes, I put my hummus in an olive oil bowl.
Topped off with a little cup of cherries
I love summertime produce.
Off to do laundry, clean my room, and hopefully squeeze in a weights workout. I tend to use weights in the afternoon rather than the morning, as I feel like it’s just not worth being so tired a weight falls on my face doing a skull-crusher lift!
