Cherries, cherries, all day long

Sometimes you just need a smoothie.  A big, 16 ounce, deliciously cold smoothie.  It really makes everything better.

1 c Dole Frozen Cherries
2.5 tbsps Jarrow Chocolate Brown Rice Protein Powder
1 c Almond Breeze Original
1 handful baby spinach
2 Truvia


But you know what? Sometimes you need a little bit more…

3 De Wafelbakkers Sweet Potato Spelt Waffles with a drizzle of maple syrup and the rest of a jar of Dalmatia Fig Spread, probably 1 tbsp

The waffles didn’t crisp up in the toaster as well as I had planned but they were still very tasty! I was hoping for more sweet potato taste, but they just tasted like regular waffles.  They were also a bit smaller than my beloved Van’s, so I think I’ll stick to those more often.  The fig jam definitely helped things out.

Off to watch the World Cup yet again.  Go Portugal! Although I admit, I’m rooting for them because of Cristiano.  He’s amazing!
