Hello, stranger

I swear I haven’t abandoned this blog.  My life is crazy busy at the moment, and finding time to post all three meals and snacks isn’t possible.  But I’m not starving!

Turkey, avocado, cranberry relish sandwich on Ezekiel nine grain bread.  Trust me.  It’s awesome.

vegetarian baked beans on top of a sweet potato tastes soooo good after yoga.

tried a recipe i saw on a blog for cocoa lentils.  it did not go well.

walnut/peanut butter cinnamon raisin pear oats.
pumpkin raisin peanut butter apple oats.

For a tailgate on Saturday I decided to make Farmgirl Fare’s Spicy Pumpkin Raisin Muffins.  I kept everything the same except I subbed in millet flour for some of the flour suggested, as well as maple syrup for the honey and I nixed the nuts.  I also didn’t soak the raisins in orange juice, simply because I had none.

I have one or two of these babies left.  I want one right now.  Gah.

My eats for today will be tomorrow.  For now, pumpkin hot chocolate is calling my name.   Simply use any hot chocolate mix (I use two packets of Swiss Miss Diet) and add a tablespoon of pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice.  Scarf.
